We love scrappy upstarts who are out to make good, and Port Orford Sustainable Seafood fits the bill.

.
As a small Oregonian sustainable fishery, POSS wanted to stand out among stiff competition in larger centres like Portland and Vancouver. They approached us with creating a brand they could be proud of.
.
We met with POSS in their hometown and explored their fishing docks. We found they operate one of two dolly-docks in all of the US (the other one is in California). The harbour is too shallow for safe mooring, so the boats are stored in rows on the dock. When they fish, the boats are hoisted in and out of the water using great yellow cranes. It’s such a unique part of POSS’s story, we had to incorporate the yellow hoists into the logo.
.
We created a label system and a set of marketing collateral including rack card, posters, photography art direction, t-shirts, bags, and POP materials.
